For the Love of Animals

Rescuing animals goes without saying when your passion is all about animals.
We ask ourselves if what we do can make a difference, but to the one kitten, or abused dog, or homeless horse we've relocated
and found a good home for, a difference was made in not only the animals' life, but a new owner, family or even community.

Gillian Lange and animals everywhere say "Thank-You Oprah!" As a gift of appreciation, Gillian Lange engaged the efforts of animal portrait
artist Sheila Boyd to paint the portrait of Sophie, Oprah's canine soul mate who died in January 2008.

In April 2008, Oprah's nationally televised show exposed puppy mills and
our animal rescue efforts nationwide. Her support and generosity has made an impact benefiting animals everywhere, and to
Oprah we say "thank-you" again and again.

In collaboration, Sheila donated her services while Dina Ousley, President
of Dinair Airbrush Make-up, and Lisa Lambert of St. Bonnie's Rescue Ranch, donated the beautiful custom frame. Together
they presented their combined efforts to Gillian Lange as their contribution to the Lange Foundation and Oprah Winfrey.
As an advocate for animals, I
am on the board of directors for Kellen Rescue in the mountain communities surrounding Oakhurst, California in the Sierra's.
We rescue animals, provide medical care, spay and neuter, rehabilitate and find homes appropriate for the animals in our care. 10% of proceeds will be made to our rescue foundation for food and medical for anyone ordering Art
